About Our Guest:

Aldo Amato is the director of public relations, communications and marketing at the Nashville Sports Council and TransPerfect Music City Bowl. He is a 2012 graduate of the University of Alabama where he received his bachelor’s degree in Journalism. A former news and sports reporter, Aldo’s career path has spanned across the country from the U.S.-Mexico border to Reno, Nevada and everywhere in between. Amato relocated back to the Middle Tennessee region after spearheading public relations and marketing at two United Soccer League Championship soccer teams; Reno 1868 FC and Memphis 901 FC. Prior to that, Aldo was the Middle Tennessee State University Athletics beat writer for The Daily News Journal and Tennessean for two years. Prior to jumping back into sports journalism, Amato was a government reporter in Laredo, Texas where he uncovered government corruption at The Laredo Morning Times.
