DESCRIPTION:Making Sense of AI: From the Basics to Tools You Can Actually Use\n\n\n\nArtificial intelligence is moving quickly from headline news to everyday reality. In cooperation with Nashville State Community College\, the Donelson Hermitage Chamber of Commerce is offering a members-only workshop designed to move beyond the buzz and provide a practical introduction to AI and its growing role in how we work\, do business\, and navigate everyday life.\n\n\nWhether you're already experimenting with AI or simply trying to understand what all the buzz is about\, this workshop is designed for participants at a variety of knowledge levels. We'll begin with a solid foundation of what artificial intelligence is and how it generally works\, then explore demonstrations of several popular AI tools in action.\n\n\n\nLed by Rob Tudor\, Director of IT Partnerships & Student Placement at Nashville State Community College\, this workshop is offered at NO CHARGE to Chamber members. Advance registration is required.\n\nParticipants will also have the opportunity to experience AI firsthand through guided exercises. The workshop will take a practical look at tools including Microsoft Copilot\, Anthropic Claude\, and Google Gemini\, with the instructor helping participants access and explore these tools through their web browsers.\n\nThe goal is to give you a stronger understanding of AI\, greater confidence in using it\, and a better sense of how these technologies may fit into your work\, business\, and everyday life.\n\nThis is a members-only workshop\, and seating will be limited.
